It is a record, not an accusation. When we say we have never observed a price, we mean exactly that: across our own dated checks, starting on the date shown beside each verdict, we did not see it. We make no claim about prices before we started tracking, we are not saying any seller has done anything unlawful, and a seller may have charged that price at a time or in a channel we cannot see. We publish the observations and the dates; you draw the conclusion.
Prices come from an automated weekly check against each seller’s own public store endpoint. Two series are authorised-dealer listings rather than manufacturer-direct and are labelled. Every observation is published as open JSON.

Not when a discount deepens — when the price charged falls below its recorded low. On this evidence that email is rare, which is rather the point.
