Every sauna ranking you'll find on page one of Google is written by someone selling saunas: brand blogs ranking themselves first, dealers with checkout buttons, paid press-release placements. Here is our alternative, in full.
1. Every ranking includes brands that pay us nothing. If the best unit in a category has no affiliate program, it still wins the category. You can audit this: our disclosure page lists every commercial relationship we have.
2. Costs are always 5-year totals. Sticker prices hide electrical work, permits, and years of electricity. Every recommendation links its true-cost math.
3. We publish negative findings. Sellers can't tell you which brands to avoid. We can, and our criteria are objective and evidence-linked, not vibes: see the red-flag screen below.
4. No sponsored placements, no paid reviews, no press-release syndication. Brands cannot pay to appear, improve, or remove a ranking. Ever.

We flag — with evidence, using fixed criteria rather than opinions — units and brands showing: drop-ship fulfillment behind a house brand (same OEM unit sold under multiple names at different prices) · companies younger than their warranty term · spec-sheet power ratings that don't match the installation manual · missing safety listings on electrical equipment · warranty terms that exclude the components most likely to fail (heaters, chillers, controllers) · review patterns consistent with incentivized reviews.
