Calculator and quiz inputs: nothing. The true-cost calculator, electrical checker, and quiz run as client-side JavaScript. Your inputs are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to us or anyone else.
Aggregate traffic analytics. The site is served by Cloudflare, which provides us aggregate statistics (page views, country, referrer). If we enable privacy-focused web analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics), it operates without cross-site tracking cookies and without building visitor profiles. We may also count clicks on outbound links in aggregate to understand which comparisons are useful.
Email. If you write to hello@saunaclear.com, we receive what you send and use it to reply. If we later offer an email newsletter, it will be strictly opt-in, with one-click unsubscribe, and addresses will never be sold or shared.
When you click an outbound link to a retailer or brand, that site may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us (that's how affiliate commissions work — see our disclosure). Their cookies are governed by their privacy policies, not ours. We receive aggregate commission reports, not your identity or payment details.
No selling or renting of personal information. No advertising trackers. No social-media pixels. No login, no accounts, no profiles. No data brokers.
Since we hold essentially no personal data about visitors, there's usually nothing to request — but if you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, say so: hello@saunaclear.com. If this policy changes materially, the date above changes with it.
