Calculator and quiz inputs: nothing. The true-cost calculator, electrical checker, and quiz run as client-side JavaScript. Your inputs are processed in your browser and are not transmitted to us or anyone else.
Aggregate traffic analytics. We run our own first-party counters: page views (path, referrer hostname, and utm_source only) and clicks on outbound links, stored as aggregate counts with no cookies, no IP addresses, and no visitor identifiers of any kind — there is nothing in our data that could single you out. The site is also served by Cloudflare, which provides us aggregate statistics (requests, country).
Email. If you write to hello@saunaclear.com, we receive what you send and use it to reply. Our email list is strictly opt-in: subscribing on any page stores your address, the page you subscribed from, and a topic tag so we only send what you asked about. We send nothing until there is something worth sending, every email has one-click unsubscribe, and addresses will never be sold or shared.
When you click an outbound link to a retailer or brand, that site may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us (that's how affiliate commissions work — see our disclosure). Their cookies are governed by their privacy policies, not ours. We receive aggregate commission reports, not your identity or payment details.
No selling or renting of personal information. No advertising trackers. No social-media pixels. No login, no accounts, no profiles. No data brokers.
Since we hold essentially no personal data about visitors, there's usually nothing to request — but if you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, say so: hello@saunaclear.com. If this policy changes materially, the date above changes with it.
