Plain version: some links on SaunaClear are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, the brand pays us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes a ranking.
In accordance with the FTC's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255): SaunaClear participates in affiliate programs with some of the brands featured on this site. When a page contains affiliate links, that page carries a disclosure notice at the top. Commissions fund the site's research and keep it free of sponsored placements, display-ad clutter, and paid reviews.
What affiliate relationships do not buy: position in any ranking, softer language in any review, exclusion from our red-flag screen, or removal of negative findings. Our methodology page describes the ranking rules; every comparison includes products from brands that pay us nothing.
This list is kept current as applications are approved or programs end.
Active relationships:
· Plunge Chill (via Impact) — commission on referred sales (10–20%), 30-day tracking cookie. Began August 9, 2026.
· Select Saunas (authorized Almost Heaven dealer, via UpPromote) — 5% commission on referred sales. Began August 9, 2026. Note: where we link Select Saunas, we display the manufacturer-direct price alongside the dealer price — including when direct is cheaper.
· Nordic Wave (via UpPromote) — flat commission per referred sale. Began August 10, 2026. Their program auto-applies a discount code through our link; we tell readers to verify the discounted total at checkout. Worth stating plainly: the day this relationship began, we raised the Viking's listed price on our pages from $5,990 to $6,990 — because that's what our weekly tracker verified — and the comparison verdict written before the relationship stands unchanged.
Pending applications (no relationship yet, links earn nothing): Sauna Kit Co, Universe of Comfort, Mito Red Light, Ice Barrel, HigherDOSE (via Awin). Declined: Redwood Outdoors (August 12, 2026) and Peak Saunas (August 26, 2026, reason given: “site does not complement advertiser brand”). We still rank and price-track both, unpaid, exactly as before — including the three Peak products our tracker shows carrying a discount that has never once been off. This list is updated as relationships begin or end.
· Sweaty Yeti (direct program) — flat commission per referred sale, 30-day tracking cookie. Began August 12, 2026. Their structures start at $28,300 and sit in a different purchase category from the kit and barrel saunas we usually cover; we say so on every page that mentions them, and the relationship changed no ranking or verdict.
· Sun Home Saunas (via Impact) — approved August 13, 2026 — 5% commission on referred sales. Their Luminar 2 remains unranked on our infrared page for lack of published warranty and electrical specs, and being paid by them did not change that. We also corrected their price down on the day the relationship began — from an unverified ≈$11,099 press figure to a verified $10,999 (2026-08-13). It has since risen to $11,599 (verified 2026-09-21), and we report that the same way we reported the decrease.
